As the long-time manager of Van Rensselaer Jewelers, Ken Heafner took over the former VRJ location in March of 2014 and opened a brand new fine jewelry store, Clark Avenue Jewelers. Housed in a beautiful boutique setting, Clark Avenue offers a huge selection of engagement rings and fine jewelry at unbeatable prices for the perfect marriage of quality and affordability.
The store name is derived from the street in Billings where Ken and his wife, Teri Johnson Heafner, grew up as next door neighbors and eventually (after much childhood bickering) became friends, fell in love, and ultimately married and had two beautiful children. After more than thirty years in both the jewelry business and as husband and wife, it’s a fitting name in that it represents their love for each other as well as their love for the Billings community and commitment to providing a genuine, local business dedicated to providing the utmost in customer care. Finding someone you can trust is very important to jewelry buyers and Clark Avenue’s mission is to continue honoring that trust.
Ken earned a Graduate Gemologist degree from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America. As a diamond expert, he provides exceptional service and will help you select the perfect diamond and answer any questions. He insists on showing every customer their diamond under a microscope which is critical in determining quality and value. It’s also essential to CAJ’s commitment to honesty and integrity.
Stop in for a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a (likely) yapping Chihuahua in the background, a dazzling display of diamonds and jewelry, and the knowledge your are buying from Montana’s best diamond store.
